The EA have now agreed to own, maintain and operate the pump for a period of 10 years subject to the receipt of the £32.2k of funds from the Defra Pathfinder fund which is currently held by the flood group.  An updated collobration agreement has been forwarded to the flood group for their agreement.

They are in the process of seeking legal assistance to ensure they feel comfortable signing and agreeing to the wording of the document.

THIS HAS NOW BEEN FINALISED AND THE PUMP IS A SUCCESS, AUTOMATICALLY CUTTING IN ON DEMAND AND REMOVING THE WATER FROM DITCHES BEFORE THEY OVERFLOW AND FLOOD COTON ROAD NORTH.
